Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels have risen at the Chatsworth river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property is expected from 18:00 today, 20/02/22. Areas most at risk are Northwood, and Churchtown, including Rectory Farm, and Hope Cottage.
Further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. We expect river levels to remain high until 22/02/22.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are patrolling watercourses in the area.
Please move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety and avoid contact with flood water.
This message will be updated by 21:00 on 20/12/22, or as the situation changes.
