Flooding expected. Take action now.
High river levels are expected to cause flooding today.
Flooding is expected from the morning of 15 November 2025.
Areas most at risk are access and egress to properties and businesses at Haslam’s Lane, Folly Road and Darley Mills, as Haslam's Lane becomes inundated and Darley Abbey Toll Bridge remains closed. If levels continue to rise, evacuation from the area will not be possible, and properties around Darley Street will also be at risk. Further rainfall is forecast over the next 12 hours. River levels at Derby St Marys Gauge will rise until 14:00 on 15/11/25.
We are closely monitoring the situation.
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
