More light rain is expected over the next 6 hours. River levels remain high but are not expected to increase.
Flooding is possible on Saturday 15 November 2025 .
Locations most affected will be low lying land and roads near rivers near the River Doe Lea from Hardwick Hall to Staveley.
We are closely monitoring the situation and monitoring rainfall and river levels.
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water . Avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
