Flooding expected. Take action now.
This Severe Flood Warning has now been downgraded to a Flood Warning as the risk to life has passed and the risk of further flooding is reducing. Please continue to follow advice from the emergency services who will advise when it is safe to return. River levels are dropping, however standing water may remain for the next few days, resulting in continued impacts to properties and access routes. Further significant impacts on river levels are not forecast today (Wednesday, 13/11/19). However, a further band of rain is forecast for evening/overnight on Thursday 14 November and we are monitoring this closely. We continue to support the coordinated 24/7 multi‐agency response and have deployed pumps, people and equipment.
