Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding overnight.
Flooding is expected from 3:00 AM on 16710/2024.
Areas most at risk include low lying areas adjacent to the River Eden at Bolton, including Bolton Bank Caravan Park, Bolton Mill, The Cottage and Stables.
River levels in Appleby are forecast to peak at around 06:45am on 17/10/2024 and will then fall throughout the day.
We are closely monitoring the situation.
