River levels are rising rapidly on the River Eden due to heavy rainfall.
Areas most at risk include A686 Penrith to Alston Road at Langwathby Bridge; Toll Bar Cottage, Eden Hall Cricket Club and the A686 Penrith to Alston Road.
Flooding is affecting A686 Penrith to Alston Road at Langwathby Bridge; Toll Bar Cottage, Eden Hall Cricket Club and the A686 Penrith to Alston Road.
We are clearing debris from weed screens in the area.
Consider activating any property flood protection products.
Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water.
