Flooding possible. Be prepared.
The River Ems is high following weeks of rain. Minor flood impacts affecting fields, Brook Meadows, rural roads, and gardens will continue. Very little rain is forecast Saturday but river levels will not fall far. More rain is forecast on Sunday (5-10mm). River levels will rise a small amount, and only minimal flood impacts are expected. River levels will remain higher than normal for weeks. Unsettled weather could continue into March, and therefore further periods of flood risk are possible. We are closely monitoring the situation operating our structure at Constant Springs, and clearing debris screens. Consider activating any flood protection products you may have in Westbourne and Emsworth, flooding may occur quickly. This message will be updated by 20:00 01/03/2026.
