Heavy rainfall during Thursday, 26/09/2024 has lead to high river levels on the river Esk. Areas most at risk include properties in Lealholm on Lealholm Lane and at Underpark Farm near Lealholm. We are closely monitoring the situation. Start acting on your flood plan if you have one. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. This message will be updated by 6pm on 27/09/2024, or as the situation changes.
