River levels on the River Esk are high in response to ongoing rainfall associated with Storm Darragh. Flooding is expected today, Saturday 07/12/2024. Areas most at risk include properties in Lealholm on Lealhom Lane and at Underpark Farm near Lealhom. We are closely monitoring the situation. Start acting on your flood plan if you have one. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. This message will be updated by 08:00am on Sunday 08/12/2024, or as the situation changes.
