River levels on the River Esk remain high in response to ongoing rainfall associated with Storm Darragh but are now falling. Flooding is expected today, Sunday 08/12/2024. Areas most at risk include properties in Ruswarp on The Carrs, Sneaton Lane, Water Lane, Geln Esk Road and Riverside Walk. We are closely monitoring the situation. Start acting on your flood plan if you have one. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. This message will be updated by 8:00pm on Sunday 08/12/2024, or as the situation changes.
