Property flooding is expected.
River levels are high on the River Evenlode as a result of heavy rainfall last night. Therefore, flooding of properties is possible, especially for properties closest to the river in Shipton-Under-Wychwood. Water levels look to have stabilised this morning and we expect them to start to lower through the day.
No further rainfall is forecast today or tomorrow. We are closely monitoring the situation and our incident response staff have been in the area clearing weed/trash screens.
Please avoid contact with flood water and activate any property flood protection products you may have, such as flood barriers and air brick covers
