Flood warning

River levels remain high in response to rainfall on Thursday 8th February. Flooding is expected. Areas most at risk are Padbury Mill, Thornborough Mill, Thornton College at Thornton, Beachampton and The Mill at Passenham. The A422 is at risk of being flooded, as well as the roads between Leckhampstead and Wicken, Leckhampstead and Thornborough, and the A422 to Thornton. Further rainfall is possible today, which will keep river levels high. Be ready to take action to protect your property. Install any property flood protection products you have, such as flood barriers and air brick covers. Take care on riverside roads and footpaths, and don't put yourself in unnecessary danger. We are monitoring the situation. We will update this message by 5pm today, Saturday 10th February 2024.
