Flood warning

River levels are rising steadily in response to the recent rainfall. Flooding is possible over the next few hours and overnight tonight, Sunday 24 November 2024. Areas most at risk are Padbury Mill, Thornborough Mill, Thornton College at Thornton, Beachampton and The Mill at Passenham. The A422 is at risk of being flooded, as well as the roads between Leckhampstead and Wicken, Leckhampstead and Thornborough, and the A422 to Thornton. There is no significant rainfall forecast over the next 24 hours. Take care on riverside roads and footpaths, and don't put yourself in unnecessary danger. We are monitoring the situation. We will update this message by 10am tomorrow, Monday 25 November 2024.
