River levels are reacting quickly, and rising sharply in response to heavy, overnight rainfall. Flooding is possible this morning and throughout the day today, Friday 27th September 2024.
Areas most at risk are Padbury Mill, Thornborough Mill, Thornton College at Thornton, Beachampton and The Mill at Passenham. The A422 is at risk of being flooded, as well as the roads between Leckhampstead and Wicken, Leckhampstead and Thornborough, and the A422 to Thornton.
River levels are expected to continue to rise, and we are likely to issue more messages for a wider area, over the next few hours. Be ready to take action to protect your property if flooding is expected. We are monitoring the situation. We will update this message by 5pm today, Friday 27/09/24.
