Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

River levels remain high. They are currently falling but will increase again as a peak of floodwater flows down from upstream of Bedford, this peak of floodwater is lower than that seen 28-30th September. Areas most at risk are Broughton Lodge Farm in Southoe, Mill Road in Buckden, High Street in Offord Darcy and Station Lane in Offord Cluny. The forecast is dry today and tomorrow but unsettled from Sunday into next week, further rainfall will keep levels high or push them up again. Take care on riverside roads and footpaths, and don't put yourself in unnecessary danger. We are monitoring the situation and will update this message by 5pm, Friday 04/10/24.
