Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are rising steadily in response to recent heavy rainfall from Storm Bert. Flooding is possible this evening and throughout the night tonight, Thursday 28 November 2024. Areas most at risk are Broughton Lodge Farm in Southoe, Mill Road in Buckden, High Street in Offord Darcy and Station Lane in Offord Cluny. The forecast shows no further significant rainfall for the next few days, but river levels will remain high into the weekend and will be responsive to any further rainfall. Be ready to take action to protect your property if flooding is expected. Take care on riverside roads and footpaths, and don't put yourself in unnecessary danger. We are monitoring the situation. We will update this message by 10am tomorrow, Friday 29 November 2024.
