River Idle at West Retford and Ordsall Flood warning 6:37am, Friday 5th January 2024

Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

River levels remain high but are beginning to fall at the Ordsall river gauge as a result of Storm Henk. Consequently, flooding is expected to continue.

Areas most at risk are Retford, including Darrel Road, and Ordsall, including Goosemoor Lane.

Further light rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. We expect river levels to remain high until Friday 05/01/24.

We are closely monitoring the situation.

Please move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety and avoid contact with floodwater. Contact your insurance company if you've been flooded.
