Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels remain high following heavy rain throughout Sunday. Consequently, flooding is expected on Sunday evening, 24/11/2024.
Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the River Isle, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around Ashford Mill and Ilford Bridges Farmhouse. Ringbanks will be bankfull and the B3168 at Hambridge is expected to flood.
River levels are currently rising in response to this afternoon's rain, and are forecast to peak around 7PM on Sunday. We are closely monitoring rainfall and river levels, and staff have been out clearing weed screens and ensuring rivers are free of blockages.
Act on your flood plan if you have one, and consider activating any property flood protection products you may have. Continue to monitor local water levels and weather conditions, and don't put yourself or others at risk.
