This Flood Alert has been removed. River levels are falling, but may still pose a flood risk. There is no longer a threat of flooding, though standing water and debris may still remain. Thursday evening and Friday are forecast to be largely dry, with the chance of isolated showers, but we do not currently expect river levels to rise further in response to this. We continue to monitor the situation. Our incident response staff are clearing debris from weed screens. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers which may be flooded and refer to local authority website for local road closures.
