River levels have fallen on the River Isle and River Parrett, but remain high at some locations.
Areas most at risk include roads at Ashford Mill, Isle Brewers, Fivehead, the Norton sub Hambdon to Stratton road, the A356 and the B3165 at Chiselborough and the B3168 at Ilford Bridges.
Today and tomorrow are forecast to be mainly dry. However, further heavy rain is forecast from Wednesday night through Thursday. River levels are expected to rise in response. The weather remains unsettled with further heavy rain possible up to the weekend.
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and are checking rivers for blockages in the area. Monitor local water levels and weather conditions. Consider putting your flood plan into action. Plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
