Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels remain high following heavy rain overnight and on Sunday morning, and they continue to respond to the heavy rain falling this afternoon. Consequently, flooding is expected throughout Sunday 24/11/2024.
Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the River Isle, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around properties at Sea, the A358 south of Donyatt, the B3168 at Ilford Bridges and the Isle Brewers to Fivehead road.
River levels are currently rising again, having dropped this morning, and are forecast to peak late afternoon into the early evening on Sunday. We are closely monitoring rainfall and river levels.
Act on your flood plan if you have one, and continue to monitor local water levels and weather conditions. Don't put yourself or others at risk.
