Flooding expected. Take action now.
High river levels are expected to cause flooding today.
Flooding is expected from the afternoon of 18 December 2025 .
Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the River Isle, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around properties at Sea, the A358 south of Donyatt, the B3168 at Ilford Bridges and the Isle Brewers to Fivehead road. Flooding is expected from 4:00PM this afternoon as river levels are quickly rising following the rainfall today.
Weather conditions are expected to improve later this evening with a dry day forecast for Friday. River levels are expected to fall later today, and the risk of flooding will reduce this evening.
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and clearing blockages from debris screens.
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water and monitor local water levels and weather conditions.
