Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are rising steadily at Arlesey and remain high and steady at Biggleswade following recent rainfall and snowmelt. Flooding is expected today and overnight 06/01/25. Areas most at risk are Langford Garden Centre, Common Road, High Street, Riverside Gardens, Wilmon Court, Ivel Close and Mill Lane. The forecast is for mostly no further rainfall in the next 48hrs. River levels will remain high and could also lead to some surface water problems. Flood water is dangerous. Be ready to take action to protect your property if flooding is expected. Take care on riverside roads and footpaths, and don't put yourself in unnecessary danger.
We are monitoring the situation. We will update this message by 9am tomorrow, 07/01/25
