Flooding expected. Take action now.
Property flooding is possible overnight. River levels are rising on the River Key as a result of heavy rainfall from Storm Bert. Therefore, flooding of property and roads is possible this evening and overnight, 24/11/2024. Further rainfall is forecast overnight which should clear by the morning. We expect river levels to continue gradually rising overnight before stabilising tomorrow morning.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety. Activate any property flood protection products such as flood barriers. Go to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels. This message will be updated tomorrow morning, 25/11/2024, or as the situation changes.
