This flood warning has been removed. River levels have now fallen below the flood risk threshold. The flood warning for the area has now been removed. However, a flood alert remains in force for the wider area, so flooding may still affect roads and low lying land. Today (26/11/2024) is forecast to be mainly dry with further rain forecast overnight into tomorrow. We expected levels to continue to fall through today, but levels remain sensitive to further rainfall and may rise again in response to the forecast rainfall. We are monitoring the situation and will re-issue this Flood Warning if required. Avoid contact with flood water. Go to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels.
