Flooding expected. Take action now.
Property flooding is expected. River levels high but starting to fall very slowly on the River Key following heavy rainfall from Storm Bert. Therefore, flooding of property and roads is expected to continue today, 25/11/2024. The forecast is predominantly dry today with further rainfall forecast from tomorrow night (26/11/2024). River levels are expected to continue to slowly drop today but remain sensitive to further rainfall and may rise again later in the week in response to forecast rainfall.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety. Activate any property flood protection products such as flood barriers. Go to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels. This message will be updated this evening, 25/11/2024, or as the situation changes.
