Flood warning

Property flooding is possible.

River levels are rising on the River Blackwater as a result of a heavy heavy rainfall over the past 24 hours. Therefore, flooding of property is possible later this evening 27/01/25. Areas most at risk are properties closest to the river on Church Road.

Further rainfall which may be heavy at times is forecast over the next 48 hours. River levels are high, and will remain sensitive to any further heavy rainfall. We are monitoring the situation. Activate any property flood protection products such as flood barriers. Move family, pets and cars to safety.

This message will be updated tomorrow morning, 28/01/25, or as the situation changes.
