Flooding possible. Be prepared.

Flood alert

Forecast high river levels over the next two days may lead to flooding. 
Flooding is possible on 26 January 2026 and into Tuesday 27th January 2026. 
Prolonged heavy rainfall is forecast throughout Monday and into Tuesday.
Catchments are saturated and rivers are expected to respond.
Locations most affected will be low lying land and roads near rivers. 
We are closely monitoring the situation . 
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water . 
This message will be updated by 1:00PM on 27 January 2026 or as the situation changes.
