Flooding possible. Be prepared.
Flooding is possible on 26 June 2026. Areas most at risk are low-lying agricultural land and roads around Mansfield, the Sherwood Forest Caravan Park at Clipstone, Edwinstowe, Ollerton, Whitewater Lane at Whitewater Bridge and West Drayton. Thunderstorms are forecast over the next 12 hours, with low confidence over timing and locations. River levels may rise rapidly due to the nature of the catchment. We are closely monitoring the situation. Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses. This message will be updated by 17:00 on 26 June 2026 or as the situation changes.
