Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

River levels are expected to rise at the Mansfield Pleasley Chesterfield Road North river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is possible from midday onwards, 02/01/2024. Areas most at risk are Chesterfield Road and Meden Square, to the east of Pleasley Bridge.
Further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. We expect river levels to remain high until tomorrow morning, 03/01/2024.
We are closely monitoring the situation.
Please move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety and avoid contact with flood water.
This message will be updated by 07:00 tomorrow morning, 03/01/2024, or as the situation changes.
