Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

River levels are rising at the Mansfield Pleasley Chesterfield Road North river gauge as a result of persistent heavy rainfall and snowmelt. Consequently, flooding (of property) is imminent. Areas most at risk are Chesterfield Road and Meden Square, to the east of Pleasley Bridge.
Further heavy rainfall is forecast over the next 8 hours. We expect river levels to remain high until 22:00 on 06/01/25.
We are closely monitoring the situation.
Please move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety and turn off gas, electricity and water.

This message will be updated by 10:00 on 06/01/25, or as the situation changes.
