The River Nidd at Kirk Hammerton flood warning remains in force. River levels are rising in response to recent rainfall and will remain high through today and tomorrow. The areas affected are riverside properties situated along the left-bank at Mill Lane, Kirk Hammerton. Monitor local water levels and weather conditions. Avoid using low lying footpaths or entering areas prone to flooding. Start acting on your flood plan if you have one. We will continue to monitor river levels. This message will be updated at 9am on 15/11/2023 or as the situation changes.
