Flood warning

River levels are high and due to rise further on the Roding due to heavy rainfall forecast this evening, Thursday 4th January, and into tomorrow.
This Flood Warning has been issued because flooding is expected on Friday 5th January, from 9am onwards.
Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the Roding, with low lying land expected to be most affected, particularly around Roding Lane, Park View, Loughton, Bradwell Road, Boxted Close, Riverside Cottages, Eton Manor, Valley Close, Roding Road, Malvern Gardens, Broomfield Avenue, Valley Hill, and Southern Drive.

River levels are high and forecast to rise further at the Loughton gauge. 
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and are checking rivers for blockages in the area.
Consider putting your flood plan into action and activating any property flood protections products. You should avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
This message will be updated by 10am tomorrow, Friday 5th January, or as the situation changes.
