Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels remain high but steady at the Saxons Lode river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is expected to continue. We expect flooding to affect Dunns Lane, Upton upon Severn. Dunns Lane gate is closed.
Peak:- Saxons Lode peaked at 5.48m on Thursday afternoon, 04/01/2024.
We expect river levels to remain high over the next few days. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are liaising with emergency services and Local Authorities. Please move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
This message will be updated 9am, Saturday 06/01/2024, or as the situation changes.
