Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are rising at the Gloucester river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall coinciding with a period of high tides. Flooding is possible during high tides today, Monday 12/02/24, and over the coming days. We expect flooding to affect properties in and around Minsterworth Ham and Stonebench.
Predicted Peaks:- Gloucester, 4.1m to 4.4m during high tide this evening and 4.0m to 4.3m during high tide tomorrow morning Tuesday 13/02;
Minsterworth, 5.9m to 6.1m during high tide this evening, and 6.0m to 6.2m during high tide tomorrow morning, Tuesday 13/02.
We expect river levels to remain high over the next few days. We are closely monitoring the situation.
Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
