Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are rising at the Minsterworth river gauge as a result of high spring tides coinciding with high river levels. Flooding may impact properties in the area Lower Rea to Stonebench, Quedgeley. Floodwater overtopping the tidal defences may be affecting properties in the Minsterworth, Noards, Oakle Street and Churcham areas.
Predicted Peak at Minsterworth 5.75m to 6m 19/10/2024 at 23:00 and 5.75m to 5.9m at 11:15 on 20/10/24.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are liaising with emergency services and Local Authorities.
Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
