Flooding expected. Take action now.
Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding this evening. Flooding is expected from 8:00 PM on 16/10/2024.
Areas most at risk include the area around Charlton Viaduct, the Cider Factory and Draycott Road in Shepton Mallet and the area around Jack's Bridge in Croscombe.
Flooding is expected as river levels are now rising rapidly due to heavy rainfall earlier this evening. We continue to monitor rainfall and river levels closely.
Start acting on your flood plan if you have one, and consider activating any property flood protection products you may have.
