Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are rising at the Colston Bassett river gauge as a result of Storm Henk. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is possible to begin between 05:00 and 07:00 tomorrow, 03/01/2024. Areas most at risk are Aslockton and Whatton.
Further light rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours.
We are closely monitoring the situation.
Please move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety and avoid contact with flood water.
