This message has been issued because some minor flooding to low lying land, roads and riverside areas is likely today Sunday 5 November 2023. River levels are currently high, but are expected to start to drop back down to more normal levels later today. Areas most at risk are Stratford St Mary and Dedham. The forecast is for dry conditions today, which will allow river levels to start returning to normal. Be ready to take action to protect your property if flooding is expected. We are monitoring the situation and will update this message on Monday 6 November 2023 or as the situation changes.
