Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

River levels have risen as a result of heavy rainfall. Flooding of low lying property, roads and low lying land is expected from 13:00 onwards at Goudhurst on Thursday 3 November 2022. We expect flooding to affect isolated properties on the outskirts of Marden and Collier Street from late afternoon today.

Further rainfall is forecast overnight, tonight Thursday 3 November 2022. We are continuing to monitor the situation and our incident response staff are out on the ground checking and clearing any blockages and debris from the rivers.

This message will be updated by 20:00, or as the situation changes.
