Flooding expected. Take action now.
High river levels on the River Thames are expected to cause flooding today.
Flooding is expected on 23 February 2026.
Flooding of property and roads is expected today, especially in the Basmore Lane, Bolney Road and Loddon Drive areas and surrounding Lower Shiplake and Wargrave areas. River levels are high but currently falling following a period of drier weather last week. We expect river levels to continue slowly falling over the next few days. The weather forecast is mostly dry over the next few days, with little rainfall anticipated.
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels. We are liaising with emergency services and local authorities.
Stay away from flood water - it contains hidden dangers such as open man hole covers, sewage and chemicals. Go to River levels online for updates on current river levels.
