Flooding expected. Take action now.
Property flooding is expected.
River levels are high but falling on the River Thames following heavy rainfall from Storm Bert. Flooding of property and roads is expected to continue today, 29/11/2024. Areas most at risk are properties located closest to the River Thames between Radcot and Shifford.
Today is forecast to be mainly dry, followed by light rain in places overnight. River levels are expected to continue slowly falling over the coming days. River levels will remain high as water moves downstream.
We are monitoring the situation and operating our weirs to manage flood risk. Our staff are liaising with councils and emergency services. Move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety. Activate any property flood protection products such as flood barriers.
This message will be updated this evening, 29/11/2024, or as the situation changes.
