Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

River levels remain high but remain steady at the Carlton-on-Trent river gauge as a result of recent heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property is expected to continue. Areas most at risk are Carlton on Trent including Beck Cottage.
No further significant rainfall is forecast. We expect river levels to remain high until Saturday, 11/01/2025.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are patrolling watercourses in the area and liaising with emergency services.
Please move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety and avoid contact with flood water.
