Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

River levels remain high at the Torksey river gauge as a result of high tides coinciding with high river levels. Consequently, the risk of flooding continues. Areas most at risk are the A57 Dunham Road Bridge at Dunham-on-Trent. Dunham Bridge is likely to become impassable to traffic. Property is not expected to flood at this stage.
No further significant rainfall is forecast. We expect river levels to remain high until Friday, 10/01/2025.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are patrolling watercourses in the area and liaising with emergency services.
Please plan driving routes to avoid low-lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded and avoid contact with flood water.
To check the status of road closures online, please visit the One Network live map.
This message will be updated by 15:00 today, 09/01/2025, or as the situation changes.
