Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are high but steady at the Stoke river gauge as a result of persistent heavy rainfall. Consequently, the risk of flooding remains. Flooding is affecting properties around Campbell Road, Lonsdale Street, Hyde Park Trading Estate, Lytton Street & Staffordshire University campus.
No further rainfall is forecast. River levels have peaked and will remain steady, with no further rise forecasted.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are actively checking river levels and the weather forecast.
Please follow advice from emergency services and stay aware in case further warnings are issued.
