Flood warning

This flood warning remains in place for the River Ure at Masham due to heavy rainfall associated with Storm Isha. River levels have peaked and are beginning to slowly drop. The risk of flooding remains and may be affecting locations near the River Ure, with low lying land expected to be most affected, particularly around Masham including properties on Mill Gate, Marfield Quarry and off the A6108. We will continue to monitor levels closely. Monitor local water levels and weather conditions. Consider putting your flood plan into action. You should avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. This message will be updated by 3PM on Monday 22/01/2024, or as the situation changes.
