Flood warning

This flood warning has been issued as river levels have risen as a result of rainfall yesterday and last night. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and land in Burnsall is expected today, Friday 21st May. Areas most at risk are properties by Burnsall Green and Burnsall Bridge, including The Red Lion pub and holiday homes on the river bank. The River Wharfe at Netherside Hall is expected to remain high throughout today. Please activate any property flood protection products you may have, such as flood barriers and air brick covers, and stay away from fast moving water. Our incident response staff are closely monitoring the forecast. This message will be updated in 8 hours or as the situation changes.
