Flood warning

River levels are rising rapidly on the River Wharfe.
Flooding is expected at Properties by Burnsall Green and Burnsall Bridge, including The Red Lion pub and holiday homes on the river bank from 06:00 AM on 20/02/2022.
Further heavy rainfall is forecast this morning.
Our incident rooms are open and we are closely monitoring the situation.
Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water.
Start acting on your flood plan if you have one.
Residents are strongly urged to take action now. Remain safe and be aware of your surroundings.
