River levels are rising slowly on the tidal River Wharfe following recent rainfall associated with Storm Henk. Areas most at risk include properties on Main Street in Ryther and on Boggart Lane in Ozendyke. Further rainfall is forecast for the next few days and we expect levels to remain high. Our incident room is open and we are closely monitoring the situation. Please put your flood plan into action. Plan driving routes to avoid low-lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. This message will be updated by 6PM on Wednesday 03/01/2024, or as the situation changes.
