River levels are now falling slowly but remain high on the tidal River Wharfe following recent rainfall associated with Storm Henk. Areas most at risk include properties on Main Street in Ryther and on Boggart Lane in Ozendyke. Levels are expected to remain high for the next few days but to continue falling. Our incident room is open and we are closely monitoring the situation. Please put your flood plan into action. Plan driving routes to avoid low-lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. This message will be updated by 10AM on Friday 05/01/2024, or as the situation changes.
