River levels remain high on the tidal River Wharfe following recent rainfall associated with Storm Henk. River levels are now starting to fall from the peak levels reached on Thursday 04/01/2024, and are expected to continue to fall overnight into Friday 05/01/2024. Areas most at risk include properties on Main Street in Ryther and on Boggart Lane in Ozendyke. Further showers are forecast for the next few days and we expect levels to remain high. Our incident room is open and we are closely monitoring the situation. Please put your flood plan into action. Plan driving routes to avoid low-lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. This message will be updated by 2AM on Friday 05/01/2024, or as the situation changes.
